CBSE Term 2 Board Exams 2022: On the third day of CBSE term 2 board exams, Class 12 students appeared for the Biotechnology paper. The paper started at 10:30 am. The other papers for which Class 12 exams are being conducted on Thursday are Engineering Graphics, Retail, Electronic Technology, Food Nutrition and Dietetics, Library and Info. Science. 

 

The CBSE Class 10 examinations today are for the following subjects: Retailing, Security, Automotive, Introduction to Fin. Markets, Tourism, Beauty and Wellness, Agriculture, Food Production, Front Office Operations, Banking and Insurance, Marketing and Sales, Health Care, Apparel, Multimedia, Multi skill found course, Artificial Intelligence and Physical Activity Trainer.

 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Term 2 Board Examinations started on Tuesday, April 26. Over 35 lakh students are taking the Class 10 and Class 12 term 2 examinations.

 

Exams for Class 10 students are scheduled from April 26 to May 24, while examinations for Class 12 students will begin on April 26 and finish on June 15. Class 10 examinations will include 75 subjects, while Class 12 exams will include 114.

 

The overall number of applicants for CBSE Class 10 term 2 board examinations is 21,16,209, while the total number of candidates for CBSE Class 12 term 2 board exams is 14,54,370. There are total 1412 examination centers in India and abroad. Students must bring their term 2 hall ticket to the test centre and follow to the COVID-19 guidelines.

Biotechnology teacher of Tagore Public School, Attarsuiya of Prayagraj Khushboo Kapoor said that the biotechnology question paper was easy with direct questions as per NCERT pattern that students found good for scoring. “With no confusing questions, most of our students should score good as the questions were from within the syllabus and easy worded,” she added.

Amandeep Kaur, English Teacher, Pacific World School said that the subjective paper of English was quite easy with most of the questions being direct, rather than based on extrapolatory perspective. The Literature section focused on in depth reading of the chapters and basic comprehension of the plot and theme.

The writing and grammar section was also fair enough, as it aimed to test the basic grammatical knowledge of students. The language of the reading passages was easy and questions were also direct. Overall, the students were happy with the paper.
