Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Class 10 Board Exams 2022 would end today – May 24, 2022. The board is scheduled to conduct the Information Technology or IT examination today. The one hour paper would end at 11:30 am, marking the end of Class 10 board exams. The evaluation process for CBSE Class 10 Results 2022 is already underway and results are expected in June.
As per the information available, the evaluation work for most of the Class 10 examination is almost at an end. This year, teachers have been tasked to check more answer sheets as the paper has been reduced to 40 marks instead of 80 marks. Many answer sheets’ evaluation work took just about a week.
Evaluators appointed by CBSE had started the evaluation of the Class 10 and 12 answer sheets from the 1st week of May itself. The evaluation work for CBSE Class 10 result is likely to end latest by June 10. The board would then start processing the result. If all goes well, CBSE Class 10 Results 2022 are expected to be released around June 25, 2022.

Calculating CBSE Results
While it has not been clarified by the board, experts and senior teachers who have an understanding on how CBSE results are calculated, have suggested that about 10 days are required minimum by the board to compile and upload the results. Once this is done, the results are then analysed and normalized based on recommendations received by subject experts over the variation in difficulty levels of different sets of question papers.
The panel then decided on the moderation policy for the year and the results are compiled and released. This year, however, another and extremely important step has been added.

CBSE Results 2022: Term 1, Term 2 weightage
This year, CBSE Class 10 and 12 board examinations were divided into two terms – Term 1 and Term 2. The board had earlier shared that a 50 – 50 split in the marks would be done. However, on the declaration of CBSE Term 1 Results, the board has clarified that the weightage of Term 1 and Term 2 is not decided.
It is understood that the policy for CBSE Results 2022 would be finalized after the evaluation of Term 2 examination is complete. Once the marks of the students and their performance in Term 1 and 2 are compared, the board would decide on the adequate weightage that has to be given to marks scored in each term.
It is likely that the board might not release the marks scored by the students in Term 2 separately. The CBSE mark sheet is expected to only show the cumulative result of the student. More details are awaited and once available, would be provided here.
