CBSE has sent mail to the respective city coordinators, seeking information regarding Examination Centre & other details. Apart from possible centres, the board has also asked for details regarding photo-copy, printing facility, and other details. As per the document accessed, it can be assessed that the board is planning on offline examination at designated centres. Here is what we know:
CBSE Board Exam 2022 Term 1: Offline papers, at centres â latest updates
- Schools have been asked to submit information regarding proposed centre â indicating that the examination would be conducted in offline mode at exam centres.
- Schools have been asked to ensure that they can âact promptly and efficiently to handle all activities related to downloading/printing/stapling/distribution/conduct of examination/evaluation and uploading etc.â
- Schools are likely to be sent the question papers on the day of the examination itself. As per the communication, proposed examination centres ought to be able to download, print, copy and staple the question papers within 30-35 minutes for the allotted number of students.
- OMR sheets are likely to be uploaded and sent to CBSE on the day of the examination, post evaluation. As per the mail, the âproposed centre will also have to undertake evaluation work on same day as per the scheduleâ. Since the answer sheets would be OMR sheet, the evaluation work would essentially refer to uploading of the OMR sheets.
- Under COVID guidelines, a maximum of 12 students would be allowed in a classroom, and no more
- As for the date sheet, no major examination of Class 10 & Class 12 would be on the same day.
Students and parents may please note that the examinations are expected to begin from November 15. The board is likely to share the details and pattern of the examination along with the date sheet.
