CBSE term 2 board exam 2022: CBSE term 2 board exams are all set to begin from April 26. Social Studies is a subject based on cramming of facts and answers. It involves remembering crucial dates, terminologies and extensive answers to various battles fought and various policies implemented.
The lack of a practical approach in this subject, unlike Maths and Science, is what students tend to get petrified of. To combat the various long and short questions, here are a few tips to fetch excellent scores in social studies.
1. BE WELL-ACQUAINTED WITH THEORY:
History, Civics, Economics and Geography are theoretical subjects, which also makes them quite mark-fetching if you jot down the facts properly. Follow a note-making pattern for each chapter as you start with them. This will give you some insight into the overall subject matter of the concerned chapter.
2. START WITH READING:
You will have a lot to read through and it might be daunting at first, but adept reading will help you get a basic essence of all the chapters. You need not remember all details from each chapter at once. Before starting the preparations for your exams, make sure to read the chapters first. A brief knowledge of all the chapters will always be helpful.
